Part 1: Jesus the Truth, Allah the liar
The Bible states that:
Jesus is “… the way, and the truth, and the life” John 14:6
“… so that through two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible that God should prove false, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to seize the hope set before us.” Hebrews 6:18
“God is not a man, that He should lie” Numbers 23:19
However, regarding Allah, the Quran states:
Before reading the verses, note that the Arabic root word MAKR is used throughout the entire Quran to mean plot, scheme, deceive. Don’t be fooled by the use of the words “plan” and “planner”. The translators have chosen the least offensive synonym possible, because in the passages quoted below, the word relates to their “god” Allah, but the root of the original word is used repeatedly throughout the Quran to mean deceive.
“And Allah is the best of planners” S. 3:54;8:30 (khayru al-makireena: “the best of deceivers”)
“Then did they feel secure from the plan of Allah? But no one feels secure from the plan (makra: deceit) of Allah except the losing people.” S. 7:99 (That’s quite a statement – no one feels safe from the deceit of Allah except those who don’t know him!)
And yet again:
“And those before them had plotted (makara: deceived), but to Allah belongs the plan entirely” (falillahi al-makru: all the deception is Allah’s) S. 13:42
The above words all use that same root word: MAKR, and all have the same intrinsic meaning: falseness, subterfuge, deceit, dishonesty.
John 8:44 identifies who and what liars are:
“You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”
This is by no means an exhaustive study of Yahweh’s innate Truth, or of Allah’s deceptiveness. I could provide many more quotes from both sources. For anyone who would like a more in depth study on this subject, Allah: Truthful or Deceiver and Allah – The Greatest Deceiver of Them All have extensive explanations. Both articles are found on the Answering Islam website, which contains a wealth of information.
Part 2: Unconditional Love VS Conditional Love
Following are a few Biblical passages regarding the sort of love Yahweh has for us:
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
“In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the expiation for our sins.”.” 1 John 4:10
“So we know and believe the love God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.” “We love, because he first loved us.” John 4:16, 19
“I have loved you with an everlasting love“ Jeremiah 31:3
There are far too many references to God’s love in the Bible to include them all. His love is unconditional – because He is Love! He even loved us before we were redeemed by Christ’s death on the cross:
“But God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
Allah’s love, however, is not unconditional. The Quran states:
“Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves.” S. 2:222
If you follow Muhammad “Allah will love you and forgive you your sins”. S. 3:31
“And Allah loves the steadfast.” S. 3:146
“Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him].” S. 3:159
“Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.” S. 5:42
“Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him]” S. 9:4
And to show that the list of things he loves is finite rather than unconditional, here is a short list of the things he does not love:
“… and Allah does not like corrupters.” S. 5:64
“Indeed, Allah does not like transgressors.” S. 5:87
“Indeed, Allah does not like traitors.” S. 8:58
“Indeed, He does not like those who commit excess.” S. 6:141
“Indeed, He does not like the arrogant.” S. 16:23
“Indeed, Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful.” S. 31:18
That was an abbreviated list of the things which Allah “doesn’t like” … here’s another notable thing he doesn’t like:
“Say, ‘Obey Allah and the Messenger.’ But if they turn away – then indeed, Allah does not like the disbelievers. S. 3:32
Here is what the Quran says happens to those “disbelievers”:
“And whoever disbelieves – I will grant him enjoyment for a little; then I will force him to the punishment of the Fire, and wretched is the destination.” S. 2:126
“And those who disbelieve – their allies are Taghut. They take them out of the light into darknesses. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.” S. 2:257
“Indeed, those who disbelieve – never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all. And it is they who are fuel for the Fire.” S. 3:10
Rather than inspiring love, the above passages spark fear. This is apparently quite intentional. He seems to enjoy being feared:
“… and fear none but Me” “And do not exchange My signs for a small price, and fear [only] Me.” S. 2:40, 41
“obey Allah with full submission, fear much from His Punishment” S. 2:45
“O you who believe! Be afraid of Allah” S. 2:278, S. 9:119
“And Allah has said: Take not two gods, He is only one Allah; so of Me alone should you be afraid.” S. 16:51
“Verily, the Torment of your Lord is something to be afraid of!” S. 17:57
Rather than fear, the Bible teaches:
“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and he who fears is not perfected in love.” 1 John 4:18
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets.”” Matthew 22:36-40
Yahweh wants love, Allah wants fear. And it’s no surprise that they fear him! Note that he only shows his “love” to those, even among his own, to those whom he chooses!
“… that they would disbelieve in what Allah has revealed through [their] outrage that Allah would send down His favor upon whom He wills from among His servants.” S. 2:90 (How dare his servants disbelieve in him because he only awards his favor to those he chooses from among them! There are no guarantees of “favor” there – never mind love!)
What a paltry “god” indeed! His own Quran shows him for what he is: capricious with his “love”, even toward those who already “love” him, in whatever way such a being can be “loved”. But then again, we shouldn’t be surprised, since we’ve already seen that he is not trustworthy! Compare his selfish pseudo-love with this Biblical passage from the Old Testament:
“Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Behold, I have graven you on the palms of my hands” Isaiah 49:15-16
Imagine! Even if a mother can forget her child, Yahweh will still remember us, and have compassion on us; He says that He has carved us on the palm of His hand! You won’t find a comparison for that kind of love anywhere in the Quran!!!
Part 3: Love Your Enemies VS Behead Them
We’ve seen that Yahweh is Truth, and Allah is a liar, and we’ve delved into the love that God has for the world, and compared it against Allah’s form of “love”. Now we’re going to take a look at what the Bible tells us about how we are to love others, and we’ll compare what we find against the words of the Quran.
“Jesus answered, The first is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.‘ There is no other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:29-31
“But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you?” Matthew 5:44-46
It’s easy to love those who love us back … far harder to love those who revile us, hurt us, mock us, lie about us, torture us … and even go as far as killing us. But that is what the Bible teaches: we are to be imitators of Christ, the only truly Innocent One. He didn’t come down from the cross and smite His enemies – He could have, but as He hung from the cross, He prayed “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:34). He Who never sinned accepted to die as a wholly pure Sacrifice so that all of ungrateful mankind could be salvaged from its own deliberate sins, and even asked His Father to forgive the very people who were crucifying Him.
St. Paul, in his first letter to the Corinthians, gives us his dissertation on love, and what it means to love in Christ’s Way:
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends” “So faith, hope, love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:1-8,13
That’s a pretty radical description of love. Works – of any sort – are meaningless without love. Love always chooses in favor of the other person, whomever, and whatever, the other person may be. In fact, love is placed even higher than faith! Christ doesn’t ask His followers to do anything that He hadn’t already done before us: Love never ends … even unto death.
Those who follow the Bible are told to love their enemies, and pray for those who persecute them. Before moving on to the Quran’s instructions on how to treat enemies, let’s first establish who they consider as adversaries:
“Let not believers take disbelievers as allies rather than believers. And whoever [of you] does that has nothing with Allah, except when taking precaution against them in prudence.” S. 3:28 (only be friendly with non-Muslims when trying to keep an eye on them … )
“And whoever desires other than Islam as religion – never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.” S. 3:85 (anyone who is NOT Muslim will burn in hell in the hereafter.)
“The Jews say, “Ezra is the son of Allah”; and the Christians say, “The Messiah is the son of Allah.” That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them” S. 9:30 (Allah is asked to destroy the Jews and Christians)
“Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels and His messengers and Gabriel and Michael – then indeed, Allah is an enemy to the disbelievers.” S.2:98 (In plain English: Allah is the enemy of anyone who believes in someone other than himself!)
The recurring theme seems to be that not only those who fight against the Islamists are to be considered enemies, but also anyone who does not believe in Allah, anyone who is not a Muslim, and does not “repent” and convert to Islam. (see also S. 9:5 below)
Now that we’ve established that the Christian type of love is not part of the Islamic deposit of faith, the following verses show what faithful Muslims are commanded to do to those they consider to be enemies. Keep in mind who they consider to be their “enemy” as you read the following verses:
“O you who have believed, fight those adjacent to you of the disbelievers and let them find in you harshness.” S. 9:123 (This verse is also translated, chillingly, as: “Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood“
“But those who disbelieved will have cut out for them garments of fire. Poured upon their heads will be scalding water” S. 22:19
“I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip.” S. 8:12 (In plain English: behead them and mutilate them.)
“Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you …And kill them wherever you overtake them” S. 2:190-191 (An interesting note regarding these verses can be found here: “The historical context of this passage is not defensive warfare, since Muhammad and his Muslims had just relocated to Medina and were not under attack by their Meccan adversaries. In fact, the verses urge offensive warfare, in that Muslims are to drive Meccans out of their own city (which they later did“). (Emphases mine.)
“And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way.” S. 9:5 (Christians, in Islamic view, are “polytheists” because they worship the Trinity. The way to Muslim “repentance” is by becoming a Muslim, praying to Allah, and according to this passage, paying the Islamists money.)
“And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows.” S. 8:60 (“them” are the disbelievers.)
“Allah’s Apostle said, ‘The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say, “O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.” ‘” Hadith Sahih Bukhari [4:52:177] (You can’t make that one any plainer …)
“…but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land.” S. 5:33
I need to add some information regarding the above quote. The beginning of this verse says that this punishment is meant for those who “wage war” on Islam, and Islamists disingenuously love to point that out. I contend that the “war” is not against Islam, but against terrorism, and is a war of self-defense! Following are only a few examples of what we are defending against:
Terrorists behead innocent man … –CAUTION!!! This is an extremely graphic video!
Libyan parliament confirms death of 21 kidnapped Coptic Egyptians – Daily News Egypt
ISIS Beheads Cigarette Smokers – International Business Times
Saudi Rape Victim Gets 200 Lashes – CBS News
This is only a small sampling of the “war” which is being fought against all non-Muslims worldwide. We, those of us who are not Muslims, are not waging a war against the religion of Islam, but rather sending out a rallying cry to forestall the slaughter of innocent people whose only “crime” is that they are Christians or Jews.
Here is a taste of what the radical Islamists plan for the entire world – in their own words:
Islam talks and ex-Muslims warn, but is the West listening? – Renew America
The Future of Terrorism: What al-Qaida Really Wants– Spiegel Online (Germany)
And this is their plan for all Christians:
Muslims: ‘Wipe Christianity from face of earth’ – World Net Daily
The quote: “We will conquer your Rome, break your crosses, and enslave your women. If we do not reach that time, then our children and grandchildren will reach it, and they will sell your sons as slaves at the slave market.” So warns Islamic State Spokesman Sheikh Abu Muhammad al-Adnani.
We are not “warring against Islam” – WE ARE FIGHTING FOR OUR VERY SURVIVAL!
There are so many other contradictions which could be exposed – the 6th Commandment is just one of those examples:
“You shall not commit adultery”. This was amplified by Jesus when He said “But I say to you that every one who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Matthew 5:28) Here’s one more quote, taken from among the many on the same subject scattered throughout the Bible: “For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from immorality” (1 Thessalonians 4:3) … the repeated admonitions to avoid immorality does not jive with the Hadiths below. Note that the first 2 examples refer to their beloved pedophile prophet, Muhammad, whom they place above Jesus in holiness; as you read, remember that this is what the Quran has to say about Muhammad: “And indeed, you are of a great moral character.” (S. 68:4), and “There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah” (S. 33:21)
“Narrated Aisha: The Prophet engaged me when I was a girl of six (years). We went to Medina and stayed at the home of Bani-al-Harith bin Khazraj. Then I got ill and my hair fell down. Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She caught me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house. I was breathless then, and when my breathing became Allright, she took some water and rubbed my face and head with it. Then she took me into the house. There in the house I saw some Ansari women who said, ‘Best wishes and Allah’s Blessing and a good luck.’ Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage). Unexpectedly Allah’s Apostle came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age.” Hadith Sahih Bukhari [5:58:234]
“Narrated Hisham’s father: ‘Khadija died three years before the Prophet departed to Medina. He stayed there for two years or so and then he married Aisha when she was a girl of six years of age, and he consumed that marriage when she was nine years old.‘” Hadith Sahih Bukhari [5:58:236]
“O Prophet, when you [Muslims] divorce women, divorce them for [the commencement of] their waiting period and keep count of the waiting period …” “… And those who no longer expect menstruation among your women – if you doubt, then their period is three months, and [also for] those who have not menstruated. And for those who are pregnant, their term is until they give birth.” S. 65:1,4 (Divorce – before they even begin to menstruate …! What happens before the divorce???)
Along the same lines, but with regard to homosexuality … this is Allah’s promise for Muslims in their version of “heaven”:
“There will circulate among them [servant] boys [especially] for them, as if they were pearls well-protected.” S. 52:24
“There will circulate among them young boys made eternal” S. 56:17
“There will circulate among them young boys made eternal. When you see them, you would think them [as beautiful as] scattered pearls.” S. 76:19
We have demonstrated through three basic comparisons, along with a brief glance at a fourth, that the fellow called “Allah”, and the God named Yahweh, are not the same being! In upcoming articles, we will demonstrate that the historical differences are just as striking … and we will be prove – beyond a doubt – that much of the early history of Islam is a complete fabrication. Their god is a liar who can’t be trusted by his own followers, promotes murder, and says pedophiles are of “great moral character”! Such a being does not have love in even the most rudimentary form – let alone unconditionally!
